Want To Buy List

July 12, 2014 by Fig 4 Comments

On my phone I have a note titled “Want To Buy List”.

Last night I was talking about it with a friend when it came up organically in a conversation about buying new shoes.

sperry shoes black leapord

Sperry Top-Sider Women’s Boat Shoe

At first I hated these shoes and thought they were so ugly. But they’ve grown on me after seeing my boss where them to work most days. Plus they look pretty comfy! I think if I get some I’d want a pair of the more outlandish combos, maybe something with animal print or plaid?

cowboy boots

Dan Post Women’s CC Bluebird Western Boot

Cowboy boots! I probably won’t get these exact ones and will buy from a locally owned boot shop, but I do want some nice cowboy boots with cool stitching. It’s a pretty common style where I’m from and I’d love to get a pair finally.

ray ban sunglasses

Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses

Ray-Ban sunglasses! I’ve never owned any expensive sunglasses but I’ve managed to hang on to and take care of a few cheap pairs for years now so I think I could do well with nicer ones. I’d like to upgrade at some point and get wayfarer and aviator sunglasses.

michael kors rose gold watch

Michael Kors MK5128 Quartz Rosegold Round Dial Rosegold Band Women’s Watch

Rose gold watch! For some reason I love this one from Michael Kors.

kitchen cart

Home Styles Natural Designer Utility Cart with Stainless Steel Top

Microwave cart/kitchen cart. I’d love to purchase this exact thing for my kitchen to put my microwave on it for more storage and counter space freedom.

storage ottoman

Coaster Storage Ottoman with Tufted Accents in Dark Brown Leather Like

Storage ottoman! I would love a nice ottoman in my living room for extra seating and leg lifting comfort, but I’d also love for it to serve the dual purpose of storage.

Let’s be real…. this list could go on forever! These are a few of the top items though. A few practical and a few that are incredibly not practical but just for fun wants.

Of course these are all just things I want to buy! That doesn’t mean I’ll be buying them any time soon but hopefully one day I can work them into the budget. :)

I bought a pair of Sperry’s once (the ones that are all sequins) but I ended up deciding they weren’t my style and returned them. I’m still at the point where I don’t think they are actually that cute. Cowboy boots on the other hand are a totally worthwhile investment! I have 2 pairs (both well over $200) and I love them so much!

Fair enough! With cowboy boots I won’t mind finally spending $200+ since it’s something I’ll keep and wear for years!

So I’m pretty sure we have the same want list. http://www.millennialonabudget.com/2014/06/5-budget-breakers-i-want.html

But seriously. I REALLY want a pair of Sperry’s. And switch out the cowboy boots for sandals! :) And I might already own a very similar Michael Kors watch (pre-budget days…)

    I LOVE your style!
