I don’t normally post twice in a day but I just saw this email in my inbox about the Only 72 Hour Sale.
I’ve purchased the products once before and am planning to again this time. I’ve been growing my little online business lately and I think it’s time to invest again in some educational materials. For anyone who wants to create a side hustle or an online business especially, this is a great deal.
Basically the Only 72 Hour Sale last for 72 hours and gives you a chance to get a bunch of business education courses for a majorly discounted price. You gotta love bundles!
The price is $100 and you get $1,000 worth of business training. That includes 18 courses and 1 hardcover book.
This package contains training in:
- Better blogging
- Creating a passion-based business
- Freelancing, writing and art
- Building confidence and courage
- Sales and advertising
- Technology and systems
Basically all the things you need to be successful, right? I actually have one of the courses offered and found it to be really useful so I am sure the rest are great too. I wish I had been smarter when I was younger and first getting started online. I could have bought useful stuff like this and saved myself a ton of lost time and money. Live and learn right?
Anyway, I highly recommend the $100 startup package they have for sale over there and I’m sure you will find it useful if you are wanting to start a business or grow a blog (or anything along these lines). The links in this post are affiliate links so if you buy it you will contribute a tiny bit to help me pay for my copy that I’m purchasing (so much for light spending… I forgot this sale was coming).
Enjoy!
Heck yes I did.
The funny thing is, I got a raise and didn’t even know it. My employers probably should work on their communication but since I managed to get more money from the situation I’m not going to complain.
It’s funny because I found out today that I was getting a raise. we are having a great month at the company, possibly the best ever, so I asked if that meant a raise for me. My boss said no then said she was joking and had actually already put in for a 5% raise for me starting this paycheck.
SURPRISE!
Luckily it’s a good surprise. A 5% raise isn’t bad and all and I’ll totally take it. Of course I wanted/want more but I feel it’s fair. It’s actually more than I was expecting as I was thinking I would end up with 3 or 4%. So that’s nice!
I’m pretty excited the process was so easy it wasn’t even an issue! I was worried I’d have to ask for a raise, plead my case, get a performance review, etc. It was no issue at all because none of that even happened. They just gave me a raise anyway!
Despite the little problems I have with this job they do treat me very well overall and I am progressing both in income and skills attained. It’s nice to be in a position where I’m growing and learning and earning more!
My frugality has temporarily deserted me!
I actually have spent about $360 in the last several days.Since I normally don’t spend that much money it feels a bit foreign to me.
This included:
- eating out several times both on my own and with family because I couldn’t cook
- groceries for the week with some restocking
- new makeup because my last foundation and primer ran out
- a new dress which is super cute and was only $18
- complete new skin care routine because I was allergic to the last products I had
Really I got quite a lot of stuff!
This is what I consider heavy spending. I can afford it but it’s more than I probably *should* have spent in the last few days.
I’ll probably try to lay low for this week though I may eat out again a few times at work. I’ll try to get back into the “light spending” range. :)
