I didn’t spend any money today!
Should I throw myself a party? It feels like I should. Almost. Maybe. But that would involve spending money. Damn.
I suppose not spending money is one of the benefits of not going out. If I do nothing all day – I spend nothing! Win? Right? Right?
So maybe it’s a little bit boring to sit at home and do nothing. I mean, my life isn’t all that exciting anyway! I work from home (or the library) so it’s not like I go out all that much anyway. And spending a whole Sunday at home doing nothing just makes it seem even worse. But hey, I didn’t spend anything. That’s got to count for something!
Plus, I made some money without doing any work. That’s one of the perks of building up a passive income online. You don’t work but you still get paid! That only accounts for a small portion of my income, but hey, it makes me feel good. Today I made some money AND I didn’t spend any. I might not get a party but I think I might deserve a pat on the back for the first no spend day in a while.
